The 2024 Lost Loon Triathlon is history, but the Lost Loon will fly again on September 14, 2025. Join our email list to receive notifications and updates.

Have you tried competing in a triathlon on a scooter, paddling in costume, or singing your favorite tune with friends along the trail? If not, you are missing out on one of the most unique family-friendly triathlons in Middle Tennessee. Join us for the 21st Lost Loon Triathlon on September 14, 2025 at Long Hunter State Park at 9:30 am. All ages and skill levels are welcome to participate. There is something for everyone at Lost Loon and we hope you will compete as a race team or have fun as a volunteer. The event sells out every year so please sign up to receive email notifications regarding registration.

The Lost Loon Triathlon encourages people of all ages to enjoy the outdoors and have fun. Since 2003, toddlers to seniors have teamed up to cycle, tandem canoe and trail run in a spirited fashion. For competitive athletes, it can be quite a challenge as team awards are based on enthusiasm rather than time. The triathlon registration fees support TSRA's river conservation efforts in our state. We thank all of the loyal Loonies, sponsors and partners for your support and participation each year.

The Tennessee Scenic Rivers Association (TSRA) is a statewide volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation of free flowing streams in Tennessee. Founded in 1966, TSRA is a 501(c)(3) organization.
